“Hi my name is Nevaeh, and I am a licensed nail technician in Wisconsin! I service the City of Janesville. I want to provide luxury nail services to anyone wanting healthy beautiful nails!

I am also a college student at UW-Superior! I’m pursuing a bachelors degree in psychology, with the hopes of a masters degree in counseling or business psychology. Who knows though, I love it all! I am pursuing psychology because I love being able to help people. I received my associates degree from UW-Whitewater, and my Manicurist License from First Class Cosmetology School.

I work part time as a manager of an assort of things at Janesville’s local coffee shop, Mocha Moment. I’ve worked there for 5 years! You’ll see me there, Mondays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays. Baking & Barista-ing!

I also have a certificate in Social Media Management & Content Creation. I only pick up projects for this here and there.

I hope to shift all of my time & focus to nails while I finish college!”

Why Nails?

I have always loved getting my nails done, it’s always been something that makes me feel complete. Having beautiful nails is a luxury, but over the years it seems a lot of places stopped caring about the glamour of it all.

Many times my nails had come out the other end as very weak, damaged, rings of fire. Sometimes the shape and design weren’t even what I asked for. I became really hesitant when it came to expressing myself through nails, and stopped asking for things I thought where “too much”.

This is why I decided to become a nail technician. I wanted to be able to give myself, and others, the options to express themselves with whatever they thought of! I wanted to be able to provide quality options for everyone!

Goals & Aspirations for my business

I hope to collab & donate to lots of charity events! If anyone is looking for donation baskets, discount cards, etc. Please feel encouraged to reach out. I also volunteer at every Fundraising event at Mocha Moment! And I’m willing to do so at other events too.

I also hope to one day create & be able to have a student discount for nails. The students of today are the future of tomorrow, I want to support them in anyway I can. Even if its just giving them the confidence of fierce nails, a relaxing pedicure, or a place to just get away and pamper themselves. I will be doing discounted prom and formal nails as well, more information on this to come.

I also will soon be investing in HEMA-free nail polish for those who may have a gel allergy or sensitivity! A lot of these reactions have to do with the skill of your nail technician as well, and I work very hard to prevent this.

More About Me

I am happily engaged, and soon to be married, to my partner Max. He is my business partner, and really my business manager at times haha! He is my biggest supporter and I would not have been able to accomplish my proudest achievements without him!

We are biking enthusiasts, trying to mountain bike whenever we can. For all of our biking needs, we head straight to Michael Cycles!

We also love coffee! (big surprise!!), and we’ve probably been to over 50 coffee shops in Wisconsin alone.

If we aren’t doing these two things, we’re probably at home playing music, watching movies, trying out new recipes, attempting to tame our garden, or hanging out with our families!

I am heavily influenced and inspired by my parents and brothers artistic talents in the beauty industry, and other mediums. As well as my in laws & sister in law’s creativity and business knowledge. Being surrounded by such talented, hard working, and aspiring individuals encouraged me to take the leap of starting my own business today!
